These stories were sent to us by students in the Dual Language Program in Albany at the Delaware Community School.  These students have not only written interesting writing pieces, but they have done so in two languages.  Read on.

Juan Bobo (translation)

One day and old man moved to the pumpkin road.  Juan Bobo’s mother told Juan Bobo , “ Help Don Von with his things.”

Don Von said, “Juan, I am going to the farmer’s market.  Put the dog in the backyard and dust the shelf.”  Don Von was surprised when he saw Juan.  Juan had put the shelf in the backyard.  Juan had dusted the turkey.  The dog ate the paint.  Juan was sent to boarding school.
