It smells like cookies

It tastes like cupcakes

It sounds like people laughing

It feels like swimming

It looks like people having fun

Some places are just not me

Yet those places I don’t want to be

Sometimes I’m not like this

I just want to sit back and reminisce

Some places I’m wanted

Yet those places I’m taunted

Some things I don’t want to say

And sometimes I don’t want to go this way.

Constellations fill

The sky

So far yet so close

Twinkling, sparkling

All the time.

The moon comes

When the sun goes

Down

Only one face shown

Showing the path in

The darkness

Leading the way

Letting things be
