Writing:
E-mail works great. Microsoft word file is best.
(if using e-mail, in body of e-mail please include type of work you are sending, especially if it is one of our features: e.g."Brainstorm topic")
We accept 1000 words or less.
Stories by younger writers (age 7 and under) dictated to parents are acceptable. Please keep the story true to their telling and encourage them to submit an accompanying illustration. Encourage them to help you edit.
For Artwork and Comics:
You can email artwork as a jpeg. file or
mail a copy of your artwork to the address above.
* Use 8x10" paper. (No lined paper accepted)
* Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
* Be sure your work is clear enough and dark enough for reproduction.
* For comics make sure that each frame of the comic is on it's own 8x10" piece of paper.
For your information:
All pieces may be edited. All work must be original and unpublished. Copyright remains property of the writer/artist, however by submitting your work, you agree to allow Skribblers to use your work in publication, advertising, or other forms connected to the magazine. Although last names will be used in the print magazine, no last names will be posted in online content.
*If you do not wish for your last name to be used anywhere or for your work to be used for online (internet) purposes, you must indicate so in the submission.
Please be sure to send your submission permission form even for e-mailed submissions.
